TBTB is a name of the theatre company, which stands for “Theater Breaking Through Barriers”. Their performance received a high praise when we first invited them to “BIRD” Theatre Festival TOTTORI in 2014, and they will come back to Japan again. How do people with disabilities crash with others around them and build up a relationship? A very American and NY ways to deal with those situations will come to the surface in comical, dry and sometimes cynical ways. This time, they will be collaborating with binbin Factory based in NY.

A couple sit together to share a simple, elegant meal ― and to discuss the meaning of life, death and life in this wonderfully complex study by John Guare, proving that ― between us all ― there is far more than we could possibly imagine.
Two original short dance pieces, choreographed by binbinFactory Artistic Director, Satoshi Haga, which illustrate how ― in spite of our differences ― we are all one. The first dance piece (still untitled), features a duet by Satoshi Haga and Rie Fukuzawa. The second dance piece (still untitled), combines the entire cast. In spite of our differences ― our abilities and disabilities, we all move together in one form to create a unified whole. Disability disappears. We are all as one.
