Let’s stay overnight at the Theatre Festival!
You can enjoy glamping empty-handed.
“Glamping” is a portmanteau of “glamorous” and "camping", and describes a new style of camping with comfortable and luxurious services like staying in a hotel.
During the Theatre Festival, glamorous tents will be set in the school ground of the BIRD Theatre. Bonfire stands will be provided as well as beddings, furniture and amenities. You can enjoy luxurious camping empty-handed to stay overnight.
Glamping equipment such as tents will be prepared by “CAMP on PARADE”. CAMP on PARADE has its own physical camp store in Harajuku, Tokyo. They were very much attracted to the town of Shikano, so they organised a tour where people could enjoy a luxurious mobile hotel: The airstream camping-car, at the end of last year. They had also arranged a theatrical workshop by the BIRD Theatre Company during the tour. This time they will prepare lovely bell tents. Please enjoy an Autumn night under the starry sky.
