Japan-China-Korea International Collaborative Performance
This is an omnibus-style performance by Japanese, Chinese and Korean directors and actors, dealing with Ryunosuke Akutagawa. There are many works by Akutagawa that were based on folklore tales and historical events that had been brought from the continent. This time, the tripartite international collaborative performance deals with pieces by Ryunosuke Akutagawa as the theme. Up-and-coming Japanese, Chinese and Korean directors in their thirties and actors will be staying in Shikano town for three weeks to create the three small works. This is an original project only for BeSeTo Theater Festival. Please look forward to it.
