This is a documentary play based on a series of interviews
with a political leader, soldier, international monitor,
international activist and tour guide living in Hebron, Palestine.
Winter Family was founded by a couple of an Israeli and a French and strives to deliver the reality of a never-ending war between Israel and Palestine in a docu-mentary-play style. This is their second participation in the Bird Theatre Festival. With their exquisite composition of storytelling, sound and images, the atmosphere and lifestyle “on the ground” in Palestine, which we can never feel and understand via news, will come to life on the stage as the reality, challenges and contradic-tions to experience and face.
