A businessman urges his reluctant mistress to accompany him for cherry blossom viewing. A highly Mishima-esque dialogue drama, where “beauty” and desire collide.

Synopsis開く

Munemori, a vigorous businessman in his fifties, basks in the height of his power and prestige. On a spring Sunday, he visits his mansion where he keeps his young mistress, Yuya, and urges her to accompany him for cherry blossom viewing. But she, citing her mother’s illness, insists on returning to her home village. She remains resolute, unmoved by his pressure. On the surface, it appears to be a simple story of a domineering man tormenting a devoted young woman—but is it really?
